School Improvement Council Purpose
Mandated by law, the SIC serves as an advisory panel for the school. The SIC brings together parents, school faculty, and community stakeholders to establish, monitor, and evaluate both long and short range goals which can impact student achievement.
In addition, the SIC provides an annual school report to parents and the community in order to increase parental awareness and involvement of SIC initiatives.
Annual Report
The goal for Nation Ford HS and our School Improvement Council is to share this Annual Summary Report with parents and community members who are interested in our school. The report provides information about our student academic achievement, school accomplishments, programs, and community service and involvement.
SIC Goals
1) The Nation Ford High School SIC will provide opportunities, initiatives, program, events, and activities to increase parent involvement at Nation Ford.
2) The Nation Ford High School SIC will provide information and opportunities for parents and community members to increase awareness about the purpose and goals of Nation Ford’s SIC.
Special Services
Hosted athletes from all high schools and middles schools in the district with their peer- buddy students- 4th annual event. Our marketing students ran the events.

The Mission of Nation Ford High School:
Nation Ford is dedicated to supporting all student learning through faculty collaboration and a sense of family.
JROTC program:
- Marine Corps Reserve Officer Honor Unit Award
- Naval Honor School distinction for being in the top 20% of Region 2.
- Air Rifle Team finished 3rd in the Nation at the Marine Corps JROTC National Championship, and 3rd in the Nation at the All-Service JROTC National Championship.
- Drill Team won the Region 2 Unarmed Drill Championship, and competed at the National Drill Championships.
- Cyber Patriot (Cyber Defense) Team won the SC State Championship, and competed at the National Semi-Finals.
- Our cadets are on track to exceed 5000 hours of community service this school year.
