Summer Virtual Courses
The Fort Mill School District allows students to take certain online courses through Virtual SC during the summer after 9th, 10th, or 11th grade.
- Students are permitted to take any elective course (excluding PE or World Languages)
- A list of courses being offered can be found HERE
- Students may not take a core class (English, Math, Science, or Social Studies) unless they are attempting to retake a failed course
- Course registration is first come, first served and not every student will be placed in a section. Virtual SC has limited space, especially in required courses such as Personal Finance.
Please keep in mind that students in grades 9-12 may earn a maximum of six units of academic credit to be applied towards graduation requirements by completing technology-delivered courses offered through programs approved by the board. The principal may grant a waiver to exceed this limit.
